Oct 29, 2018· In terms of software, we are using the open source KiCad for designing the circuits and pcb2gcode to process the 'gerber' files KiCad produces and provide instructions for the CNC machine (a Roland iModela IM-01). Using this machine we can use a feed rate of 20-40 mm/minute which can mill a fairly complex PCB in around an hour. Circuit design notes
